ABSTRACT
Pesbukers is a variety show program on ANTV that tends to be a comedy. The existence of this program can be seen from the persistence of the program from 2011 until now (June 2016). On the August 17, 2015 episode, the presentation of Pesbukers program was made special and different from the other episodes. This research aimed to determine the aesthetics of Pesbukers program through the arrangement of its artistic element. The research used the aesthetic theory of Jakob Sumardjo to analyze the problem which emphasized on the aspects of objects, actors, economy, politics, and context. The narrative and cinematic elements were the supporting elements of Pesbukers program of the August 17, 2015 episode. The results showed that in this episode Pesbukers accommodated Independence Day celebrations as the dominant aesthetic appearance, so in addition to providing entertainment, it also gave political messages of nationalism.

ABSTRAK
Pesbukers merupakan acara variety show di stasiun televisi ANTV yang cenderung kearah komedi. Eksistensi program ini terlihat dari bertahannya program acara tersebut mulai dari 2011 sampai sekarang ( Juni 2016). Pada episode 17 Agustus 2015 penyajian acara program Pesbukers dibuat special dan berbeda dengan episode-episode lain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui estetika program acara Pesbukers melalui penataan elemen artistiknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori estetik Jakob Sumardjo untuk menganalisis permasalahan tersebut yang menekankan pada aspek benda, pelaku, ekonomi, politik, dan konteks. Unsur naratif dan sinematik merupakan unsur pendukung program acara Pesbukers episode 17 Agustus 2015. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di episode ini Pesbukers mengkomodifikasi budaya perayaan Hari Kemerdekaan RI sebagai tampilan estetik dominan, sehingga selain memberikan hiburan juga memberikan pesan-pesan politik nasionalisme.
