THE TYPES OF WRITTEN AND SPOKEN ERRORS IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE PRODUCED BY DEAF STUDENTS IN LISTENING COMPREHENSIVE LEARNING IN SMPLB BINA WIYATA PUTRA SITUBONDO

Abstract

The objective of research is to describe the types of written and spoken errors in Indonesian language in listening comprehensive learning produced by deaf students in SMPLB Bina Wiyata Putra Situbondo and to describe the comparison between language error produced by deaf students in written and spoken in listening comprehensive learning. The data collection is conducted by: 1) making an essay to the deaf students, 2) dictating the essay to the deaf students, 3) giving the result both the written and spoken essay, and 4) classifying the types of both written and spoken essay made by the deaf students. The data is analyzed by using equivalent method with the basic techniques of elements determinants classification and the continuing techniques in the form of comparison. The result shows that the types of written and spoken errors produced by the deaf students. The written errors occur on vocal, consonant and both of vocal and consonant letters, while the types of spoken errors occur on vocal, consonant, and both of vocal and consonant letters.
